Join us for a hands-on Sealskin Crossbody Sewing Workshop with Nikki Corbett, owner of Sew Yup’ik! In this 3-hour session, students in the Tiamuna Program will learn the fundamentals of hand-sewing using traditional materials.

Participants will:
✔ Learn basic hand-sewing techniques tailored for working with sealskin
✔ Gain insight into the cultural significance of sealskin in Indigenous craftsmanship
✔ Create and take home a handcrafted sealskin crossbody bag!

No prior sewing experience is required—all materials will be provided. Come ready to learn, create, and connect with traditional sewing practices!
