All Alaska Quest Trips are run out of our location at Russian Jack Park ( or a TBA Anchorage School District School in East Anchorage)
Description: Our Alaska Quest Trips are designed for campers who are ready to expand their backcountry camping skills and push themselves in a safe and fun environment. After a week of day camp, team building, gear prep, and skill practice, campers will head out with our trained and skilled staff on an unforgettable adventure in Alaska’s great wilderness! Trips programs will take place at and leave out of our Russian Jack location.
AQI Ages 8-9.
Manitoba Cabin: June 2 – 6
Beginner-level overnight camping experience introducing campers to outdoor skills, teamwork, and exploration, culminating in an overnight trip to the Manitoba Cabins.
OR
Eklutna: June 16 – 20
Beginner-level camping program with an overnight trip to Eklutna Campground, focusing on foundational camping skills and light hiking.
OR
Portage: July 21 – 25
Beginner-level program featuring an overnight trip to Portage Campground, including bike-based exploration on beginner-friendly trails.
Difficulty: Beginner – No previous camping experience needed. Campers will learn the necessary skills but must be comfortable spending a night away from home without their caretakers. Campers must also be competent hikers in order to learn to hike with crampons on the glacier! $625
